Tim left for work before I woke up. Swam in great pool. Went to mall, saw Carlos Boozer, didn't recognize him. When I did, he was long gone. Went to another mall. Don't know what we bought. Forgot. Oh got tim some nice shirts. Ate at thai restaurant. Good. Went back, Tim came. Ate Hot Pot with Claudia's Daddy.

OOOOO funny title.
August 4th, 2008.
Brunch at hotel. Mom and I took taxicab to train station. On train right now. No internet. Writing on Open Office (like word). Post it later.
Got off train, went to the place. That's what we call the place we live in if its not our home. (hotel). Then waited for timtim to get home from workwork. Went to dinner with uncles and peeps. Really mean girl dragged me away looking all innocent in front of parents. Said "Come, sister." Went. She talked in Mandarin to the waitress the whole time. Bored as HELL. Then she came back and said something to the parents in mandarin. Later found out that it meant "Zoe knows FOUR WORDS in Chinese, and thats I, Dont, Know, Nothing! They laughed. Too bad we already left when mom told me this, other wise I'd totally kill her. Or maybe not, just got really really mad at her. [does an angry face]

Had breakfast at 5th floor. Had the same burger. Went to famous 150 year old restaurant at Luw Oy Luw. Grandpa went to massage and Cody Tim Mom Dad Me took boat ride. Stopped at every island. Got bubble blower and whistle thingy. Then went to final stop Then went to final stop to go to hotel. Ended up at the opposite side of lake. Took a Disneyland kind of cart back. Went to Starbucks and Haagen-dazs. Had macadamia nut flavour. Had dinner at hotel. Dad and Tim went on train back to Shanghai. Mom and I stayed for one more night. After dinner swam at small hotel pool. No swimwear. Swam in big shirt and underwear! o.o Met some nice people. Had super ultra mega intense splash fight. From Shanghai. Perfect English. No accent.

Walked through the hot, humid air to a Chinese restaurant. Had brunch. Then went to West Lake and went on a boat ride. Met a guy with a van who took us to a world famous tea place where Queen Elizabeth went. Went to Dragon Well and washed face and hands for good luck. Got some 800 dollar tea leaves. Went to silk factory. Got two super soft blankets. Went to hotel to change. Had a kid's burger at 5th floor. Juciest burger. Someone came to the room. Worked for hotel. Had cake for dad. Went to Hyatt for dad's birthday dinner. Raining. Thunder. Car honked. Scared. Saw big swimming pool. Dancing fountain, matching music. Why cant we stay at this hotel?

We left Hong Kong to Shanghai. Took DragonAir, the airplane. Nobody was on it. Only around people of hundreds?? Well, when the plane took off, I went a few rows back, and had the whole row to myself. It was pretty cool. Slept the whole two hours. Then took a cab to Tim's hotel. When I saw him I was so excited. Missed him a lot. Only been two weeks. Don't know what I would do when he goes to university. Then went to the train station. One and half hour ride to Hangzhou. Met with grandpa and Cuzzy Cody and Uncle Lam. Ate at hotel. Had chinese food. Slept.

Leaving Tomorrow

It's 12:21 noon time. Woke up at 10. Took a bath and squirted yellow soap into it to freak mom out - failure. I don't think she noticed. Curled my hair, I look pretty now. Slapped on a ton of makeup. Look like a doll now. Playing with PeeJay. He took a bath earlier. Smells like cookies now. Listening to the chipmunk version of Low by Flo Rida. I'm going somewhere soon I think. Bye.
Ashley's birthday today!! She's my cuzzie. I love her!!!

Went to lunch with some of dad's friends. Before we started, one of them, Uncle Fred, called and said if I wanted to hang out with his daughters. Yes! So I went down and they picked me up, and so mom and dad and his friends had lunch. Went to Jumpin Gym with my friends. Got a lot of tickets from games. Then we went to the counter to trade the tickets for prizes. Had 1842 tickets. Got a floaty for 1330. Then got a scent thing for 160, but when they scanned it, it said 380. So we got mad at them. Pretended to be on the phone with their mom, and said how annoying they were, and that we were in a hurry. Scared the people who worked there. They let us have it, along with a pen that was worth 480. Good job. Then had dinner with other friends. It was good.
I'm leaving to Shang Hai tomorrow. Excited. Don't want to leave Hong Kong. I'll miss my friends. But I'll be back soon. Seeing my brother again finally. Cant live without him. I cant imagine how hard university will be.

Woke up at 5:30. Slept again until 11, I'm proud. Went to lunch with grandpa at Shangri-La Hotel. Had an expensive lunch. I ordered crocodile meat. It tasted good, like chicken. Except fatter, but actually not. It was actually soft bone. I think. It's too soft to be soft bone. It's not soft bone. But crocodile's aren't fat. I think it's soft bone. That goes on my weird foods list. Then dad went SOMEWHERE and mom and I went to a mall and got a lot of clothes for me from a place called KingKow. It was super cheap. Most of them, 50% off, otherwise 30%. We got 200 Canadian dollars worth of things, but if I bought them in Vancouver, it would've been like 500 dollars, even with the discounts. Then went to a shoe shop. Got me 2 sandals. They were pretty. I was surprised of how expensive. Was too used to KingKow. The sandals were even 30% off. But still expensive. Then went to another shop. Way too expensive. But the best. But still way too expensive. Even for the best. One 50% off item was worth the amount of all 17 items I got at KingKow. I'll come back when I'm richer. Had duck tongue and mushed up chicken for dinner. That'll go on my list of weird foods too. I before E except after C.

Woke at 6. Laid down for a few hours. Until 9. Went downstairs to play with Peejay, one of the dogs. Took a shower in Justin's room. Went for lunch with grandpa. Mom then went for a haircut, and dad and I went to grandma's house. She wasn't there, but dad had a key. When she came, she gave me this awesome blueberry thing that tastes really good. I had two bowls. Then we had a lot of good tea. Then dad helped fix a few windows, and we went to get a TV. We saw a nice Sony one that was 40", but I saw a nicer 46" one that was four thousand dollars cheaper. Then we left grandma and went to grandpa's house and met mom. Jeet jeet taught me how to do the Rubik's Cube. I was so proud when I did it, but I cant do it anymore. I'll try again later. We had dinner there. Then I tried to do the Rubik's Cube again, but failed.

Woke up at 8:30 am. Went on the computer to write about what happened yesterday on the blog. Had a shower at Justin, my cuzzie's room. They're having a renovation, so during my shower it was really loud. When I got out of the shower, I got dressed. I had my shirt on and nothing else. One of the renovation guys walked in. He was like "Aiyah! Aiyah! Sorry-lah!" in a chinese accent. It was really awkward and scary. At 12 noon, Edmore, the chauffeur, picked us up and we went to a Chinese restaurant and ate with my grandma and grandpa. Grandma was on Dad's side, and grandpa was on Mom's side. My other grandparents are gone. Then grandma left and grandpa and mom and dad and I went to grandpa's office. Jeet jeet cuw foo, my uncle, introduced me to this really interesting game called Bloxorz. He said only four people in the world have ever beat it, and he was one of them, but I don't believe him. I also don't know how to spell. I first spelled don't as dont, but I saw a red line underneath it.. Yeah well anyways, I'm currently at level 23.. We then had afternoon tea at a fast food place. I went next door and got myself a cookies and cream McFlurrie from Macdonald's. Then we went back to the office, then went to grandpa's home for dinner.

First Day

I woke up at 6:40 am. I'm actually pretty proud of that, because for once, I slept through the whole night, and didn't wake up at 5 am, like I usually do. Well, at 12 ish, grandpa came and picked me up to go for lunch at a hotel buffet. It was awesome. I ate so much, and in the end, I was too bloated that I couldn't even stand up. After lunch, we went to a mall near the airport and went shopping. I went to a store called Sasa and bought a lot of beauty stuff. I got eyelash curlers, mascara, body lotion, red nail polish, green nail polish, sparkly pink nail polish, and pink nail polish. There was also gold nail polish but I didn't get it, and now I really regret it. I also got nail polish remover.. Then, after a bit more shopping, we ate.. AGAIN.. then went to my friend's house for some hot pot dinner. My friend Hillary, who is super awesome, made me some shoes out of paper. I love them. I made her shoes too. Then we went back home. We waited for Claudia to come pick up some stuff, then I went to sleep.
By the way, "home" is my cuzzie's house. They have 2 dogs there, and they're really cute, and I always play with them!

I left home with mom at 12:30 pm. Uncle Hay, mom's brother who was visiting with his family from Hong Kong, drove us to the airport. We checked in, and fortunately, I got an upgrade so I could join mom in business class. We got a drink at Starbucks. I had orange juice, and mom had a tall mocha. Afterwards, we went through the gate and went to the "JAL Sakura Lounge," a lounge for just the business class people. We stayed there for an hour. We had instant ramen and Coke. I emailed my friends and told them I was going on the plane soon, then left with mom to the airplane. We got to cut through the line because we were in business class. We boarded the plane at 2:45 pm. Our seats were on row 2 of the entire plane. In business class, 2 chairs took up the space of 3 economy class chairs, and the leg room was double. The plane left at 3:25 pm. I watched three movies during the flight; Penelope, Horton Hears a Who, and 21. They were all excellent. After the 8 hour flight, we arrived at Tokyo, Japan. We spent 45 minutes there shopping, then transferred flights to Hong Kong. It was a 5 hour flight, and I was in economy class while my mom was in business class. Fortunately, I slept the whole way through. The embarrassing story is that in the middle of the flight, I woke up and I heard a ding. I got my bags together and stood up, because I thought we landed. I was about to walk up to the air stewardess to help me get my backpack from the overhead compartment when I realized that the ding was only my imagination! Well, we got to Hong Kong at 11:00 pm, Hong Kong time. My dad and grandpa picked us up. We are here at Hong Kong for 5 days before flying again.
